It’s like blood test, but for your Mind, Emotions and Behaviours.

The idea of this Mental Health Screening Service came about after I returned to Selangor, Malaysia after studying and working in Melbourne, Australia for about 6 years, plus a few months.

My research on the ground regarding the mental health services’ scene showed me that mental health screening done by the community organisations and GPs are often very basic, e.g., only including the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS), 21-items, or the shorter depression screener, Patient Health Questionnaire, 9-items (PHQ-9).

Problem is:

What about people who don’t have depressive symptoms, but struggle with other issues, such as impulsivity, certain anxiety symptoms that are less detected by these screeners, including derealisation and depersonalisation or traumatic stress symptoms, or even repetitive behaviours triggered by stress? Will they then continue be undetected and not supported with strategies and resources if they have severe symptoms of other conditions, like Panic Disorder, Phobia, OCD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and more?

This valuable Mental Health Screening Service is conceptualised and designed with these individuals in mind and act as a CRUCIAL PREVENTION TOOL to allow for symptoms to be addressed QUICKER and MORE EFFECTIVELY.

Mental Health Screening Options

Depression, Anxiety and Stress (Age 14+)
Strengths and Difficulties (Age 2 to 17) - to be completed by a parent.
Personality Profile (Age 17+)
Screening for Autism or ADHD in adults (18+)
